Youth dies of bullet fired to chase wild animal away

DOTI: A teenager was shot dead in a firing that reportedly took place trying to chase away wild animals. The incident took place last night in Tallo Dandaban of Adarsha rural municipality-5.

According to the District Police Office, Doti, the deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Tapesh Luhar. The shot was fired at by Junge Bhul,50, of the ward no. 5 in the municipality.

The incident took place at around 10:45 pm last night with Tapesh sustaining bullet injuries to his head, said DSP Lal Bahadur Dhami. Junge Bhul has been arrested along with the home-made pistol used in the incident for necessary action. An investigation is underway.
