SANKHUWASABHA: Police have arrested a cadre of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav outfit with modern firearms and ammunition.
A district-level cadre was arrested from Mewakhola of the district on Thursday. The arrested is Nimdorje Tamang. Police recovered a SLR rifle, 110 live bullets, and a magazine each of SLR and LMG, SP Ramesh Thapa informed.
Crossfire occurred between police and cadres of the faction a few days ago in the district. No human casualty was reported in both sides.
