Bureaucracy obstructing good governance: CM Gurung

POKHARA: Chief Minister of Gandaki State Prithvi Subba Gurung today said that good governance was not possible unless bureaucracy was changed.

Speaking at a seminar organized for the office bearers of local governments in Pokhara today, CM Gurung said that prompt service delivery and good governance were not made effective owing to the traditional mindset of bureaucracy.

He said though the system of governance has changed, the service delivery mechanism led by bureaucracy has remained the same as before.
