JANAKPUR: A woman, identified as Sharmila Danuwar, was found dead in Gaushala of Mahottari district today.
The body of the 22-year-old woman, who is said to be differently-abled, recovered the body from the bank of Maraha stream near her house, police said.
Since her head has several scars, it could be a murder, said SP Shyam Krishna Adhikari of the District Police Office.
Police have initiated an investigation.
