LUCKNOW: A horrifying incident has emerged out in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh here a man addicted to gambling and alcohol put his wife on the stake after running out of money.
According to reports in Indian media, the man then allowed his friends to gangrape her after losing the stake. The report added that a police report was lodged following a court’s order.
The victim, who lives in the Zafarabad police station area, claimed that her husband was an alcoholic and had put her on a stake while gambling.
One particular day, her husband put her on a stake while gambling with his friends Anil and Arun. On losing the stake, Arun and Anil gang-raped her.
After the incident, the victim went to her maternal uncle’s house. Her husband followed her there, asking for forgiveness and said that it was a mistake. After he apologized, she went back with him in his car. On their way, her husband stopped the car and allowed his friends to gangrape her once again.
