DOLAKHA: Two persons have gone missing in a landslide at Gaurishanakar Rural Municipality-1 in Dolakha. The landslide occurred last night buried Nishan Khadka of around 18 years, and Jagat Bahadur Khatri of 55 years from Guarishankar Rural municipality-2 as the two had reached there for the rescue of relatives who were trapped in the local Jungu stream.
The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Jungu. However, 20 passengers were rescued unhurt from the bus trapped in the stream. According to the District Police Office, police have been are looking for the missing ones.
Over 100 houses at Kansighare, Jhagare Patle and Aplepul of Jungu are at high risk of landslides triggered by rains since the night. Some people were injured in the landslide at Jungu. Further details of the incident are awaited.
