Prime Minister Oli leaving for Singapore for treatment today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is leaving for Singapore for treatment on Saturday. He is scheduled to fly to Singapore at 9:45 pm by a flight of SilkAir aircraft.

According to the prime minister’s secretariat, he will receive treatment at National University Hospital, Singapore.

A cabinet meeting has already approved his health screening. A report of an ultrasound-guided renal biopsy conducted at Chhauni has shown growth of creatinine in the blood.

In 2007, Oli had undergone a kidney transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He had received treatment in New Delhi and Thailand after he had infection in his hand six years ago. He had been going to Thailand for follow-up screenings, since.
