Minister Aryal commits to the development of Ramgram

KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal expressed the commitment to develop Ramgram, a site that is connected with Lord Buddha’s life.

Minister Aryal made the commitment in the course of observing the Ramgram Stupa, a temple where the relics of Gautam Buddha is preserved.

She said that Ramgram would be developed in the near future by connecting it with Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Minister Aryal said that the government is currently treading on the path of development and prosperity.

According to Chairperson of Ramgram municipality-7, Shiva Shanker Harijan, around 30,000 tourists visit Ramgram in a year. He, however, said that the place lagged development and infrastructure.
