KATHMANDU: The date for skills tests for those who have recently cleared Korean Language Test (KLT) under the Employment System (EPS) for the year 2020 has been scheduled for August 21-September 4.

Those who have passed the KLT have to fill out forms for the skills tests between July 5 to 14, according to the EPS Korea Section under the Department of Foreign Employment.

The Korean section has already informed the concerned candidates in line with the notice dispatched by the Human Resource Center of the Korea government.

A total of 12,009 among those who appeared in the KLT have got through the test for the year 2020. Of them, 9,0133 have passed under manufacturing category while 2,876 have cleared under agriculture and livestock category.

The marks weightage of KLT under Agriculture and Livestock category was 90. Now, they have to appear the skills test carrying 110 marks while those appearing under manufacturing category took the test carrying 100 marks. Only those who clear the skills tests will be allowed to go to Korea.

Even though the quotas fixed by Korean government for the year 2020 is 10,050, as many as 12,009 have passed the test.
