Non-residential ambassador of Iran presents letter of credence



KATHMANDU: Non-residential ambassador of Iran, Ali Chegeni, presented his letter of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday at a special ceremony at Shital Niwas, the President’s Office.

Similarly, non-residential ambassador of Guatemala Giovanni Rene Castillo Polanco, non-residential ambassador of Belgium Francois Delhaye and non-residential ambassador of Azerbaijan Ashraf Shikhaliyev presented their letters of credence.

Also present on the occasion were Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and high-ranking government officials. Also today, President Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand Ganesh Prasad Dhakal.
