Land mafias attempt to capture 348 bighas of land in PM’s constituency



KATHMANDU: Land mafias have attempted to capture  over 348 bighas of land  in the constituency of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Jhapa district.

According to a report in Rajdhani daily, they have made a final preparation to transfer the ownership of the land in their name taking the court under their influence.

Twelve people including Kedarnath Sedain of Dhading, Gopi Krishna Pokharel of Jhapa Arjundhara Municipality-3 and Dambar Kumar Bhattarai of Ilam Municipality-5 are piling pressure on the Land Revenue Office, Damak to issue land ownership certificate in their name of 350 bighas of land sprawling across the area of the Armed Police Force and its surrounding areas.
