NCP organizes victory rally in Pokhara



POKHARA: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has organized the victory rally in Pokhara on the victory of NCP’s candidate Bidya Bhattarai.

She won from Kaski Constituency-2 with a wide margin of 8,403 votes in the by-election held Saturday. Bhattarai secured 24,394 votes while her nearest contender Khem Raj Poudel from main opposition Nepali Congress got 15,991.

Chief of Minister at the Gandaki State Prithvi Subba Gurung extended congratulations to Bhattarai wishing for the successful tenure.  CM Gurung also In-Charge of the Party at the State stressed strengthening national harmony and nationalism.

On the occasion, following the victory of Bhattarai, a spouse of Rabindra Adhikari, the then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, committed to materialize the dream of Rabindra.

NCP Gandaki State chair Hitraj Pandey and deputy In Charge Khagraj Adhikari opined that the people of Kaski-2 again provoked the popularity of government and development process forwarded in federal set up.

The victory rally started with huge participants of party cadres and well-wishers from Mahendrapul and converted as the mass meeting at Nayabazaar based exhibition Centre. The ambition center was overcrowded chanting of victory slogans and words of best wishes.
