Siddhababa remanded to four days in custody



SUNSARI: Sunsari District Court on Monday remanded Krishnadas Giri alias Siddhababa accused of raping his follower to four days in judicial custody.

A team led by DSP Binod Sharma at District Police Office, Sunsari arrested Giri on Monday morning from Biratnagar-based Birat Nursing Home. District court had issued a warrant arrest to him.

He has been taken to the hospital for further treatment following the court order.

Giri has been accused of raping his follower at his ashram in Chatara of Sunsari district on October 21. A rape case was lodged against him at the court on Thursday.
