Education Minister directs universities to resume exams



KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel, has directed the concerned authority to conduct the scheduled examination of Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University by unlocking the padlocks.

Minister Pokhared directed the university officials to create an environment conducive to conducting the examinations after addressing the genuine demands put forth by the students, said Minister’s personal secretary Sunil Khadka. Different students’ organizations have padlocked the Office of the Dean of the Institute of Medical Sciences for a few days putting forth different demands.

The institutes have fixed the date for MBBS entrance exam from coming September 7.
