Bus-hit kills pedestrian in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a passenger bus in Bharatpur Metropolitan City in the district at the wee hours of Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Roshan Adhikari, 27, of Palungtar Municipality-13, Gorkha, confirmed District Police Office, Chitwan.

Adhikari died on the spot when a bus, Na 6 Kha 7687, hit him at Anptari in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 at 2:40 am today.

The dead body has been kept at the Bharatpur District Hospital for postmortem. Police said they are investigating the case after taking the bus and its driver under control.
