Two bodies retrieved in Mahottari

MAHOTTARI: Two bodies were recovered from different locations in Mahottari on Wednesday.

A youth was found murdered by using a sharp weapon at Manarasiswa Municipality-2, said the police.

His body was retrieved from a sugarcane farm, said District Police Office Mohottari’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Budhathoki. Identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet.

Similarly, the lifeless body of Saroj Saha, 21, son of Ram Dutta Saha of Jaleshwor municipality-6 was found on the banks of Ratu River. The bodies have been sent to the District Hospital, Jaleshwor for a postmortem. Investigations into the incidents are underway, DPO Mohattari said.
