KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday convicted Dol Bahadur Karki, the former lawmaker from the then CPN-UML, of graft.

A joint bench of Justices Deep Kumar Karki and Kumar Regmi upheld the decision made by the Special Court convicting him of corruption.

The Special Court had slapped the former lawmaker and his accomplice six months jail term and Rs 100,000 fine some nine years ago.

Dol Bahadur had moved apex court demanding a review of the court’s order.
