Two kids drown in brick kiln pond



DAMAULI: Two children drowned on Tuesday in a brick kiln pond at Jamune of Myagde rural municipality-1 in Tanahu. The District Police Office, Tanahu confirmed the deaths of seven-year-old Sundar Shahi and four-year-old Kismat Shahi in the incident. They are siblings

The children who were on the way to home after attending school exams stopped upon seeing the water pond on the premises of Machhapuchhre Brick Kiln and drowned in course of swimming. Sundar was a UKG student at the local Radha Secondary School while Kismat was a nursery student. Though they were rescued alive, they breathed their last at the Damauli Hospital.
