Far Western Province govt pledges Rs 10m to windstorm victims



DHANGADI: The Far Western Province government has pledged to provide Rs 10 million assistance to windstorm victims of Bara and Parsa districts.

A Cabinet meeting of Far Western Province held on Tuesday decided to provide the amount for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the windstorm survivors.

Far Western Province Internal Affairs and Law Minister Prakash Bahadur Shah informed that the relief amount will be provided through the Chief Minister Relief Fund established by the Province 2 government.

Earlier, the government of Province 3 pledged to provide Rs 10 million in relief to the cyclone-hit victims.
