BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said democracy and free press are inseparable.

Inaugurating the 5th district convention of Nepal Press Union (NPU) Kanchanpur on Friday, Deuba said democracy cannot exist without press freedom.

On the occasion, he also blamed the federal government of not allocating the required budget for the development of the Sudur Paschhimanchal province.
