Three killed in Jajarkot landslide



JAJARKOT: A woman and her two daughters died after their house was buried in a landslide in Timale, ward no. 2 of Bheri Municipality early on Sunday.

The incident took place at around 1:45 am, according to Chief District Officer of Jajarkot Lalit Kumar Basnet.

Parbati Wali, 32, and her nine-year-old daughter Motikala and three-year-old daughter Dhansara died in the incident.

The girl’s father Dal Bahadur Wali had a lucky escape as he had slept outside of the house last night, DSP Shyam Khatri said.
