20 mln people to lose jobs by 2030 due to robots



WASHINGTON: Over 20 million people will have lost their jobs  in the manufacturing sector by 2030 due to robots, according to a study.

According to a study carried out by Oxford Economics, a consultancy in Britain, over 20 million people will lose their jobs in the manufacturing sector by 2030 due to the advent of robots.

The study has warned that the advent of robots will create economic tension in the society worldwide.
