VIRGINIA BEACH: The shooter, a disgruntled public utility employee identified as DeWayne Craddock, opened fire on co-workers at city offices in a Virginia Beach city on Friday afternoon, killing 12 people and wounding several others. The shooter was fatally shot to death by police.
‘This is the most devastating day in the history of Virginia Beach,’ said Mayor Bobby Dyer.
The shooting occurred during the time when people were still visiting the municipal center to conduct business.
