Chitwan DAO to send medical team to storm-hit districts

BHARATPUR: Chitwan District Administration Office is sending a team comprising doctors and health workers to the storm-hit districts of Bara and Parsa.

The Chitwan DAO is sending a 35-member team from Chitwan Medical College alongside medicines, chief district officer Jitendra Basnet said.

“Preparations are underway to dispatch the team,” he said.

Likewise, the DAO Chitwan has also organized a blood donation program in Bharatpur to supply bloods to those injured in the disaster.
