SC issues order to enlist veterinary service in urgent category



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order, asking the government to enlist veterinary service as the most urgent service.

A division bench of justices Sapan Pradhan Malla and Hari Phunyal issued the order to enlist veterinary services as the most urgent service in the lockdown period.

Veterinary Association Chair Dr. Shital Kaji Shrestha had filed a writ petition, seeking appropriate order to enlist veterinary service as urgent one during the lockdown.

The order states that it should be categorized as an urgent service to protect animal rights.
