COVID-19 cases in Jhapa reach 35



JHAPA: Another 18 people have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the district n Thursday. With this, total cases in the district have reached 35.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, all the newly-infected people are from Kachankawal Rural Municipality.

A swab test conducted at the Province Public Health Laboratory in Biratnagar showed that they were positive for coronavirus.

They all had entered Nepal secretly from India and are in quarantine.

Two COVID-19 patients in the district have been discharged following treatment.
