Weather across nation improves from today



KATHMANDU: The weather across the country is improving from Thursday with the gradual change in weather patterns developed in Nepal for the past few days.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, rainfall had taken place continuously in the country as westerly wind, local wind, as well as the wind with water vapor from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, had entered Nepal.

Meteorologist Prativa Manandhar said that the weather would remain fair for few more days as these weather patterns have already left the country.

There is now only the impact of pre-monsoon in the country where skies become sunny in the morning and afternoon while rainfall takes place with a thunderstorm in the evening.

The weather of hilly areas would become general cloudy in the afternoon and there is a possibility of light rain with lightning at some places of hilly areas in the evening.

The skies in the eastern and mid hilly as well as western hilly areas would be general cloudy while partial cloud has been predicted at the remaining areas on Friday.

Similarly, the weather of hilly areas of the country would remain generally cloudy while there is a possibility of rain with wind and thunderstorm at one or two places of western part on Saturday.

As per the latest details of the Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley is 17 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is 29.1 degree Celsius. RSS
