BAJHANG: A rabid fox has been terrorizing the people in Bungal Municipality, Bajhang district.
The fox has bitten 11 people and injured them. It attacked seven people at Jaljali and Dasapa of Bungal municipality-7 on a single day on Monday afternoon. Those injured in the fox-bite are being treated at health posts in Bungal and at the District Hospital in Chainpur.
Suna Aidi who was injured due to the rabid fox attack before this is undergoing treatment at the Zonal Hospital Dhangadhi. Two minors in Bungal have also sustained injuries due to attack by the rabid fox.
One of the minors who was bitten by the fox in the mouth has been referred for advanced treatment in Kohalpur Medical College, Banke district after he could not be treated here in the district.
It is said the rabid fox has also been attacking the livestock indiscriminately.
