France reports 23, 293 deaths, 162, 100 infection cases



KATHMANDU: France has reported 437 deaths in the last 24 hours taking to the death toll to 23, 293 as of Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the number of infection cases has surged to 162, 100 after 3, 742 new cases were reported in a single day.

Currently, 97, 036 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 4, 608 are critical. Meanwhile, 45, 513 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 211,202 and infecting 3,059,081 people as of Tuesday morning.
