SINDHUPALCHOWK: Police have arrested three people who were on the run after raping a teenage girl in the district.
The arrested are Sabin Gautam,19, of Mandandeupur Municipality-8, Kavre, Sandesh Thapa, of Panauti Municipality-5, Kavre and Sabin Dulal of Panauti Municipality-5, said District Police Office, Kavre.
They had allegedly lured the girl into their Balero jeep, Ba 5 Cha 3849, and took her to a jungle above Kavre Campus where they had raped her in turns.
Acting on a complaint lodged by the girl, District Police Office, Kavre had started searching them since October 4, 2019.
Police have arrested them along with the vehicle they had used while raping the girl. Police have filed a charge-sheet against theme under National Crime Code, 2074.
