Spain records 21,282 deaths, 204, 178 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 204, 178 after the United States of America (USA).

According to Worldometer, 3,968 people were infected and 430 died in a single day. A total of 21,282 people have died due to the novel virus as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 100,382 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,705 are critical.

Meanwhile, 82,514 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 177,402 and infecting 2,554,568 people as of Wednesday morning.
