Rapti Municipality-8 sealed after two COVID-19 cases confirmed

CHITWAN: Ward number 8 of Rapti Municipality has been sealed after it was confirmed that two foreign returnees of the ward have been infected with COVID-19.

Chief of the Municipality Prabha Baral said that all the entrances to the ward have been sealed to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Baral added that police have been deployed round the clock along the border of the ward.

She informed that rapid tests are being conducted on all the persons who came in contact with the infected persons.

A mother and son of the same family were confirmed to be infected from coronavirus on Friday. They had recently returned from London.
