Miklajung people asked not to sell food stuffs to liquor producers



MIKLAJUNG: Miklajung rural municipality has urged the locals and food depots not to sell foodstuffs for producing liquor.

According to rural municipality administrative officer Arun Rai, they have appealed to all not to sell food items to liquor producers, reasoning that continued lockdown could cause a food shortage.

The municipality has also banned producing liquors using food grains.

Meanwhile, 11 people tested for COVID-19 are found negative in the municipality.

The municipality sources shared that 129 people were conducted RDT and swabs from 11 people were sent to the Biratnagar Hospital for PCR test, which resulted in negative.
