Coronavirus kills 358, infects 10, 541 in India



KATHMANDU: The number of infection cases in India from Coronavirus has reached 10, 541 after 88 new cases were reported.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, the death toll from the novel virus has reached 358 in the country so far.

Currently, 8, 978 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals while 1,205 have returned home after recovery.

The India government has conducted tests on 206,212 suspected individuals for the novel virus so far.

Meanwhile, the government has extended the lockdown until May 3 to stem Coronavirus spread.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world killing 119,759 and infecting 1,929,227 people.
