Mahalaxmi Municipality collects swab samples of 70 foreign returnees

LALITPUR: Mahalaxmi Municipality has collected throat swab samples of 70 foreign returnees in the municipality and sent them for COVID-19 tests.

District Public Health Office collected samples of the foreign returnees in coordination with the Bureau of Infectious Disease Control.

Mayor Rameshwor Shrestha informed that samples of 40 persons were collected at Lubhu Primary Health Center and of 70 persons at Imadole Health Post on Thursday and Friday.

The samples have been sent to the Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory for COVID-19 tests.
