Covid-19 kills 1,341 in a single day in France

KATHMANDU: France has reported 1, 341 deaths in a single day, taking the total death toll to 12, 210 as of Friday morning.

According to worldometer, with 4, 799 new cases, the number of people infected with the novel virus has reached 117, 749.

Currently, 82, 333 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,066 are critical. Meanwhile, 23, 206 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has killed 95, 657 and infected 1,602,619 people across the world so far.
