Govt urged to intensify COVID-19 test

KATHMANDU: The Sushil Koirala Memorial Foundation (SKMF) has asked the government to prioritize the testing and treating of COVID-19 patients.

The testing and treating of the coronavirus need to be amplified in order to effectively contain the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the Foundation said.

It has expressed worry over the slow test for lack of necessary equipment and resources.

The Foundation has also demanded the government to maintain alertness on those kept in quarantine at Nepal-India border and provide relief materials to the daily wage earners and low-income people in view of the lockdown.
