Pharmacy selling fake sanitizer faces music



KATHMANDU:  Police have arrested a proprietor of a pharmacy for selling fake hand sanitizer.

Proprietor of the Kayakalpa Ayurveda Pharmacy at Kamal Binayak of Bhaktapur municipality, 28-year-old Reena Ojha, has been held for the offence.

A team comprising senior pharmaceutical officer at the Department of Drug Administration Babarmahal, Usha Tandukar and Police Inspector Shashidhar Sharma of the Police Range Bhaktapur carried out a search at the pharmacy and seized the fake sanitizers.

One hundred forty nine units of the fake ‘Instant Hand Sanitizer’ have been confiscated from the pharmacy and police investigation has been initiated in this connection.
