COVID-19 claims 1,417 in France in 24 hrs

KATHMANDU: The death toll from coronavirus in France has reached 10, 338 after 1, 417 people died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, 11, 059 people were infected in a single day taking the total number of infection cases to 109,069 in the country.

Currently, 79, 404 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, of which 7, 131 are critical. Meanwhile, 19, 337 people have recovered after treatment as of Wednesday morning.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 209 countries and two international conveyances as of Wednesday morning.
