Provide fuel to emergency service providers only: Association

KATHMANDU: Nepal Petroleum Dealers National Association has asked the petrol pumps to provide petrol only to the most essential vehicles especially the emergency service providers.

According to the President of Nepal Petroleum Dealers National Association, Lilendra Prasad Pradhan, the association has asked its member pumps to supply petroleum products only to the emergency service providers like ambulance and government vehicles.

Pradhan told that the proprietors of petrol pumps in the valley are directed to publish notice with similar news and paste it in the places convenient to the customers.

“Every pump is instructed to ensure that emergency service providers get enough petroleum products,” Pradhan said.

He added that the security agencies have their own petrol pumps and the hospitals and diplomatic mission’s vehicle have been getting petrol from nearby pumps.
