NA Chair Timilsina contributes one month’s salary to relief fund

KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA), Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has announced donation worth his one month’s salary to the central relief fund established by the government to fight coronavirus.

A Cabinet meeting on Sunday decided to set up the fund to battle the infection.

Timilsina wrote to the financial branch of the Federal Parliament Secretariat to deposit his one month’s salary amount to the fund.

Praising the government for its initiatives to establish the fund, he appealed to all to provide help with this drive and follow the government’s directions against the virus.
