Rafting to be operated in Sanibheri river



RUKUM: Rafting has been successfully operated in Rukum’s Sanibheri River.

Culture and Tourism Development Centre conducted a feasibility study for rafting in the river with the financial support of Sisne rural municipality.

The rafting trial started from Baluwa at Sisne rural municipality-6 and concluded upon reaching Sanchaur at ward number 7 of the rural municipality, according to the Centre president, Pahal Singh Ghartimagar.

He added that the feasibility study and trial-related to white water rafting in the Sanibheri river has been quite successful.

Operation of rafting in the river would help promote adventure tourism in the area, he said.
