Preparations on to provide PM black tea; health condition stable

KATHMANDU: Doctors have said that Prime Minister KP Oli’s health condition is stable and his newly transplanted kidney has started functioning.

Talking to Khabarhub, Prof. Dr Prem Krishna Khadga, Executive Director of TU Teaching Hospital, said Prime Minister has urinated 8 to 10 liters as of Thursday morning.

“Prime Minister has urinated 8 to 10 liters of urine since the completion of the surgery,  which means newly transplanted kidney has started functioning,” said Dr Khadka.

If his health condition remains stable, doctors are preparing to provide liquid food including black tea on Thursday, he added.

If the Prime Minister’s health condition improves as expected, he will be discharged in a week, according to doctors.
