Four held in connection with NCP leader Giri’s death



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Kavre district leader Haridev Giri.

“Police have arrested four suspects in the course of investigation into the murder case of NCP leader Haridev Giri,” DSP Hobindra Giri of Kathmandu Police Range Office, Teku told Khabarhub.

They have been kept at Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor for investigation. Giri had been found dead at Aloknagar of New Baneshwor on Tuesday night.

Giri’s septuagenarian father Shiva Shankar has demanded an impartial probe into Giri’s death claiming that his son was killed in cold blood in a restaurant.
