Nepali students from China to be quarantined for 14 days



KATHMANDU: As many as 180 Nepali students to be brought from coronavirus-hit China will be quarantined for 14 days.

Preparations are underway to airlift the Nepali students by this week and the place for isolation will be fixed by this evening, the Ministry of Health and Population said.

World Health Organization (WHO) has already declared coronavirus as the global health epidemic.

With the declaration, the Nepal government is under pressure to bring Nepali students from China.

India and some other countries have already taken their citizens from China.

According to the Ministry, a total of 180 students including 62 from Wuhan City are being airlifted.
