Three held on theft charges in capital



KATHMANDU: Police arrested three people including 21-year-old Bishal Gurung of Gongabu on the charge of stealing cash and recharge cards.

A squad of Metropolitan Police Sector, Gongabu held them with Rs 499, 361 in cash on Sunday morning.

According to police, the trio had stolen Rs 507,000 in cash from BigMart Super Market based at Samakhusi town planning in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

They had also allegedly stolen recharge cards of Nepal Telecom worth Rs 24,100.
