Cyclist killed in road accident



HETAUDA: A cyclist died after being hit by a passenger bus in Manahari Rural Municipality-7.

The incident took place on Saturday night when Bhim Raj Syangtan, 40, was hit by a passenger bus (Na. 7 Kha. 3844) coming from the opposite direction.

Seriously injured in the incident, Syangten died in course of medical treatment, according to Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Makwanpur Lalan Prasad Kurmi.

The bus has been impounded while its driver has been taken into custody for necessary action.
