CHITWAN: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a bus at Shahichowk in Khairahani Municipality-1 of Chitwan district on Sunday morning.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Bhushan Yadav of the District Police Office, the deceased was an unidentified man believed to be around 35 years old.
The bus was travelling from Mahottari to Kathmandu when it struck the pedestrian.
Police have taken the bus and its driver under control and launched an investigation into the incident.
