KATHMANDU: India has turned positive for the construction of the Jhapa- Siliguri petroleum pipeline.

The Indian side is positive for the expansion of the Motihari-Amlekhgunj petroleum pipeline and construction of the Jhapa- Siliguri petroleum pipeline in the second phase to ease the supply of petroleum products from India.

Indian officials during a joint secretary meeting have agreed to extend the existing pipeline up to Lothar, Chitwan.
