KATHMANDU: The government Spokesperson has said the government cannot tolerate the destructive activities carried out by Biplav-led outfit, concluding that they were operated in a terroristic manner.

The government has termed the party’s activities to seize the land of Baluwatar-based Lalita Niwas and explode a bomb at an individual’s house at Dhungedhara on Wednesday as a terror act.

At a press meet organized at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Thursday, Spokesperson Gokul Prasad Baskota said that the government’s prior decision to impose a ban on the party’s activities is justified with the recent activities of the Biplav-led group party.

“We had already said that since the acts are done in hideouts, the activities of Biplav group, is a terror act. This is a terrorist-style. This does not do well for them,” Baskota warned.

Minister Baskota condemned the destructive activities of the Biplav-led group and pointed out the need of resolving differences through the legal process.

According to him, the government was itself investigating into Baluwatar land scam and the Biplav-led faction did that act to claim itself powerful by spreading rumor over the issue that has drawn public interests.

Minister Baskota urged Biplav to join the peace process.

He said that the public property was damaged by the Biplav-led party which could not be tolerated.

Biplav-led party’s some leaders have left the party and come into peace process, therefore, Biplav also should come in peaceful politics, Baskota added.
